Council tribute to Cllr Jordan Ryan

Council Leader Cllr Jon Harvey, said: “On behalf of Pembrokeshire County Council I would like to express our shock and extreme sorrow at the death of Cllr Ryan.

“Cllr Ryan was a man of values and principles who was extremely proud to represent his constituents of the Fishguard North East ward.

“His passionate and thoughtful contributions to Council meetings will be sorely missed by every Member, no matter their political colours.

“I pass on our deepest condolences to Cllr Ryan’s family and friends.”

A former mayor of Fishguard and Goodwick, Cllr Ryan joined Pembrokeshire County Council at the elections in May 2022.

Originally elected as a Labour Councillor, Cllr Ryan was representing his constituents as an unaffiliated member at the time of his death.

Cllr Ryan also served as Chairman of the Policy and Pre-decision Overview and Scrutiny Committee for a year.
