Haverfordwest town centre was a hive of activity today (Friday, 27^th February) as hundreds of children from Pembrokeshire’s schools took part in a special St David’s Day celebration.

A group of Pembrokeshire school-based youth workers recently took young people from four secondary schools on an unforgettable six day visit to Iceland - a journey focused not just on education, but on well-being, confidence and personal growth.

 The budget for the coming year, 2026-27, has today been approved by Pembrokeshire County Council (Friday, 20^th February).

Parents/guardians of children in Pembrokeshire born between 01/09/2023 – 31/08/2024 are invited to apply for a Nursery school place for January, April and September 2027 by the closing date of 30^th April 2026.

The fourth Pembrokeshire Spotlight Awards - celebrating children and young people who achieve exceptional things and make a real difference - was held recently.
