Businesses, entrepreneurs and aspiring start-ups from across Pembrokeshire are invited to attend a free Business Support Event at Fishguard Leisure Centre on Monday 2 November, from 9am until 12pm.
Organised by the Bridge Innovation Centre in partnership with North Pembrokeshire Trade & Tourism, the event will bring together a range of organisations offering practical advice, support and opportunities for businesses looking to start, grow or develop.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from Visit Pembrokeshire, Pembrokeshire County Council, Futureworks, Porth Gwyrdd, North Pembrokeshire Trade and Tourism, Landsker Business Solutions, and Big Ideas Wales, all under one roof.
Whether seeking advice on funding, recruitment, sustainability, tourism opportunities, business planning or growth, visitors will be able to access a wealth of expertise and local knowledge throughout the morning.
Peter Lord, Principal Officer for Business Development, said: “We know that running a business can sometimes feel isolating, particularly for start-ups and small businesses. Our Fishguard drop-in event is designed to make support easy to access, bringing together experienced advisers and local organisations under one roof. Whether you have a specific question or simply want to explore opportunities for your business, we'd be delighted to welcome you for a coffee and a conversation."
The event will also provide an opportunity for informal networking, enabling business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to make new connections and explore potential collaborations.
Jeremy Martinau, Executive Secretary of North Pembrokeshire Trade & Tourism: "North Pembrokeshire has a thriving and diverse business community, and events such as this provide an excellent opportunity for businesses to access support. I would encourage any business or anyone considering self-employment to come along and make the most of the expertise available."
The event is free to attend and open to businesses of all sizes as well as individuals considering self-employment or starting a new venture.
