Cllr Rhys Sinnett, Cabinet Member for Residents’ Services said: “We appreciate that closing the facilities on South Quay will cause some inconveniences, especially during our busy summer season.
“The project is progressing well and will create enhanced visitor and community facilities for this area, offering services, attractions and jobs to Pembroke town.”
Local Members Cllr Aaron Carey and Jonathan Grimes said: “It's excellent to see work starting on the site again. It is regrettable that the car park has to be closed in the middle of the season but it is sadly, unavoidable.”
