Register to vote in May’s Senedd election

Pembrokeshire residents are being urged to ensure they are registered to vote in the upcoming Senedd election.
The Senedd election will be held on Thursday, 7th May and voters across Wales will choose 96 members who will represent them.
The deadline to register to vote is midnight on Monday, 20th April.
You can apply online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote and it takes just a few minutes. Anyone aged 16 and over, and living in Wales, can register to vote.
There will now be 16 constituencies instead of 40 across Wales and Pembrokeshire is now part of the Ceredigion Penfro constituency with Ceredigion.
If you wish to vote by post or by postal proxy, the deadline to apply is 5pm on Tuesday, 21st April and if you require a proxy vote the deadline is 5pm on Tuesday, 28th April.
Pembrokeshire County Council Chief Executive and Deputy Constituency Returning Officer, Will Bramble, said: “It is really important that everyone who is eligible to vote is able to do so. Registering to vote ensures you can have your voice heard at the upcoming Senedd election.”

A new voter information website, vote.wales, has been launched by the Electoral Management Board for Wales, part of the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru, and it includes everything people need to know about the election.
