Budding and established young entrepreneurs are invited to a special business drop-in event this month.

Pembrokeshire County Council’s Business Drop-in event on September 26, will be aimed at young entrepreneurs and start-ups, with a range of organisations attending to offer specialist support.

Peter Lord, Principal Development Officer, said: “We will still have our regular business support partners attending to offer general business support, but this month we wanted to highlight the support available to young people aged 16-30 year-olds who have completed education and are considering starting their own business in the county.”

Among those attending will be Big Ideas Wales, who will explain the vast amount of support they can offer, such as providing advisors, learning materials and funding.

Also in attendance are the usual support organisations such as Creative West Wales, the Federation of Small Businesses, Visit Pembrokeshire, Landsker Business Solutions, Pembrokeshire Lottery, Really Pro and Web Adept.

The drop-in event is informal and gives young people a great opportunity to speak to organisations to see how they can turn their ideas into reality or grow their existing business.

The Drop-In events are held on the last Friday of every month, 9am to 12, organised by Pembrokeshire County Council’s Business Support Team and funded by the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
