Sport Pembrokeshire Awards celebrate 20 years – get your nominations in now

Preparations are in full swing to celebrate another year of outstanding sporting achievements across Pembrokeshire.
This year marks a special milestone as the Sport Pembrokeshire Awards celebrates its 20th anniversary.
The prestigious awards will return to Folly Farm on Friday, November 27, 2026, bringing together the county's sporting community to recognise success, dedication and inspiration both on and off the field.
Nominations for the award categories open today, Monday, September 7, giving residents the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the athletes, teams, coaches and volunteers who have made a difference over the past year.
The categories recognise the sporting achievements of individuals and teams, as well as the commitment of coaches, organisers and volunteers who are vital to community sport throughout Pembrokeshire.
Cllr Rhys Sinnett, Cabinet Member for Residents' Services, said: "The Sport Pembrokeshire Awards reaching their 20th anniversary is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the strength of sport across our county.
"For two decades, these awards have celebrated excellence at every level, from young athletes taking their first steps in sport to individuals who have dedicated years of service to their clubs and communities.
"We look forward to another memorable evening at Folly Farm and hope to see another record number of nominations as we recognise the incredible sporting talent and commitment that exists across Pembrokeshire."

An additional award announced on the night is the Schools Award, which recognises a local school that works especially hard to make sport and physical activity fun, inclusive and innovative, while forging strong links with the local community.
