Time running out for Sport Pembrokeshire Awards nominations

With the nomination deadline rapidly approaching, Pembrokeshire residents are being encouraged to put forward their sporting heroes for the 2026 Sport Pembrokeshire Awards.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the awards will return to Folly Farm on Friday, November 27, recognising outstanding sporting achievement and dedication across the county.

Nominations close on Sunday, October 11, giving people limited time to recognise the athletes, teams, coaches, organisers and volunteers who have made a difference in Pembrokeshire sport over the past year.
The awards celebrate success both on and off the field, highlighting not only sporting excellence but also the commitment of those who help grassroots sport thrive.
This year's award categories are:
- Coach of the Year
- Female Sporting Achievement
- Male Sporting Achievement
- Boys (U16) Sporting Achievement
- Girls (U16) Sporting Achievement
- Disability Sport Award
- Junior (U16) Disability Sport Award
- Unsung Hero
- Club Organiser of the Year
- Team Achievement of the Year
- Junior (U16) Team Achievement of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Club of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement
An additional Schools Award will be presented on the night, recognising a local school that makes sport and physical activity fun, inclusive and innovative while forging strong links with the local community.
