Pembrokeshire County Council is introducing an upgrade to its payment system to make it even more secure and ready for the future.
The PAY360 system will move to a secure cloud-based platform that meets strict industry standards. This will help ensure all payments remain safe and fully compliant with PCI DSS requirements.
As part of this change, customers paying over the phone will enter their card details using their keypad, rather than verbally over the telephone. This helps protect personal information and reduces the risk of fraud.
Please note: the telephone payments system will be unavailable on Wednesday, May 27th while the upgrade takes place. During this time, payments can still be made:
- online via My Account, with the exception of Cashless Catering.
- via the automated payment line on 01437 775164. You can make payments for Council Tax, business rates, housing rent and school meals, as well as any bills with a reference number beginning M (miscellaneous) or P (periodic), via this service.
Leisure Centres and Registrar services will not be affected by this upgrade.
The Council is committed to keeping payment services secure, and customers can continue to make payments with confidence.
