Pembrokeshire County Council launches consultation on Community Council electoral arrangements

Pembrokeshire County Council is inviting residents, organisations and other interested parties to have their say on proposed changes to the electoral arrangements of a number of Community Councils across the county.
The consultation forms part of a review being undertaken by the Council following recommendations published by the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru (DBCC) in January 2025.
The recommendations arose from the Commission's review of Pembrokeshire's communities, carried out on behalf of the Council. While that review proposed a number of changes to community boundaries, it also included recommendations relating to the electoral arrangements of certain Community Councils where no boundary changes were proposed.
As these recommendations could not be implemented through the original review process, they are now being considered separately as part of the current review.
To ensure feedback reflects local perspectives, we are inviting input from stakeholders connected to the communities most impacted by the proposal. They are:
- Lamphey
- Llanrhian
- Martletwy
- Nolton and Roch
- Pencaer,
- St Dogmaels
- Stackpole and Castlemartin
- Wolfscastle.
The consultation opens on Tuesday 28 July 2026 and closes on Friday 11 September 2026.
