Pembrokeshire County Council looks forward to welcoming visitors to Pentre’r Garreg Las during the week of the National Eisteddfod.

 A major exhibition exploring the rich history and traditions of the National Eisteddfod of Wales is currently on display at The Riverside: Library, Gallery and Visitor Information in Haverfordwest, as Pembrokeshire prepares to welcome Eisteddfod y Garreg Las.

Pentre'r Garreg Las, Pembrokeshire County Council and partners’ area on the Eisteddfod Maes, will showcase and celebrate the county, with a full programme of talks, performances and demonstrations planned for Pabell Pawb.

There are now just four days to go until Eisteddfod y Garreg Las.

Visitors are expected to flock to Eisteddfod y Garreg Las from local communities, across Wales and beyond.

A surprise celebration organised by pupils at Haverfordwest High VC School helped mark a special achievement for popular staff member Reg White after he was recognised with a national award for his support of children from Armed Forces families.

There are now just 10 days to go until Eisteddfod y Garreg Las throws open its gates for an eight-day celebration of Welsh language, creativity and culture in Llantwd.

Pembrokeshire County Council is inviting residents, organisations and other interested parties to have their say on proposed changes to the electoral arrangements of a number of Community Councils across the county.

Hop on a bus to enjoy Eisteddfod y Garreg Las, with extra services making it easier to leave the car at home when travelling to this special event in north Pembrokeshire.

Local volunteers who have gone the extra mile to welcome the National Eisteddfod to the area will be thanked during a special ceremony on the first day of the festival.

Excitement is building as the National Eisteddfod approaches, and work begins on the Maes in north Pembrokeshire.

On 1-8 August, the National Eisteddfod visits Llantwd, North Pembrokeshire.
