Council self-assessment: public views wanted

Hunanasesiad y Cyngor: eisiau barn y cyhoedd

Each year Pembrokeshire County Council publishes a self-assessment of the Council's performance.

The assessment looks at whether the Council is:

  • exercising its functions effectively
  • using resources economically, efficiently and effectively
  • putting in place effective governance to secure the above.

The self-assessment relates to how the organisation operates as a whole and is not an assessment of individual service performance.

Considering the public's view is an essential part of the review process.

You can give your views on the Annual Self-Assessment 2025-26 by completing the online response form available at:

https://www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/have-your-say/annual-self-assessment-2026-26

If you would like a paper copy of the response form, please call 01437 764551 or email policy@pembrokeshire.gov.uk

The closing date for responses is Friday, 28 August 2026.

The final version of the self-assessment report will be approved by Council in October 2026 and will be published on the Council's website.
