Mwynhewch flas o'r rhanbarth ym Mhentre'r Garreg Las
Savour the very best of Welsh food and drink with daily 'Taste of the Region' demonstrations in the Pentre’r Garreg Las during the National Eisteddfod.
Talented local chefs will offer a series of live cooking demonstrations celebrating the flavours, producers and culinary heritage of the Bluestone Region.
Taking place in Pabell Pawb every afternoon, the programme features two live demonstrations led by an outstanding line-up of chefs and food experts, many of whom are familiar faces from S4C's Prynhawn Da.
The sessions will feature inspiring recipes, plus a chance to discover local ingredients and hear the stories behind the food that makes this region so special.
The chef line-up includes:
- Nerys Howell
- Osian Jones (Crwst)
- Gareth Richards
- Lloyd Henry
- Michelle Evans-Fecci
- Lisa Fearn
- Deian Creunant (Gwin a Mwy)
- Craig Evans (Coastal Foraging Wales)
- Carwyn Graves, presenting a special session on the heritage of Welsh food.
These demonstrations have been made possible through the Welsh Government Food and Drink Events and Festivals Small Grants Scheme.
A special thank you goes to Nerys Howell, whose invaluable support was instrumental in securing the grant and who has worked alongside the team throughout to help bring the programme to life.
The organisers also extend their thanks to Meat Promotion Wales, Food & Drink Wales, and the many local food and drink businesses whose support has helped make these sessions possible.
Whether you're a passionate foodie, an enthusiastic home cook or simply looking for a memorable experience, make sure you head to Pentre'r Garreg Las each afternoon to enjoy the very best of Welsh food, live on stage.
