Four days to go until Eisteddfod y Garreg Las

Pedwar diwrnod i fynd tan Eisteddfod y Garreg Las

There are now just four days to go until Eisteddfod y Garreg Las.

This year’s National Eisteddfod will be held in the north of the county from 1 to 8 August,  and this year’s catchment area also includes communities in south Ceredigion and west Carmarthenshire.

Pembrokeshire County Council looks forward to welcoming visitors to Pentre’r Garreg Las, a space to celebrate the people, communities, and culture of the wider Eisteddfod region across the three counties, showcasing stories and individuals who have made a special contribution to the Eisteddfod's success

Local communities have been busy decorating the area to welcome the festival, and the Maes build is in full swing, ready for an eight-day celebration of Welsh language, creativity and culture in Llantwd.

The National Eisteddfod’s App is now live, featuring details of events happening across the Maes each day, including a packed timetable for Pentre’r Garreg Las.

This year marks 850 years since the first Eisteddfod was held a few miles from the site in Cardigan Castle, and this popular festival brings together performers, writers, artists, choirs, competitors and visitors from across Wales for a week of competitions, concerts and exhibitions.
